The Schroth Best Practice program® is the consistent development of the original program by Katharina Schroth initially designed for scoliosis curves exceeding 70° Cobb (3-curve program).

The next step of this development was made by Christa Lehnert-Schroth (divorced Weiss) in the 70s of the last century. This was the time Christa Lehnert-Schroth developed special exercises for double major curve and lumbar curve patterns (3- and 4-curve program).
The recent step was the simplification of the Schroth program and the 'easy to perform' add ons based on recent evidence by Dr. Hans-Rudolf Weiss , Grandson of Katharina Schroth and son of Christa Lehnert-Schroth. This program, the only one based on the original, is called the 'Schroth Best Practice' program.
